Believe it or not sweet little Lila actually gets mad sometimes. She has entered that stage when they first realize that they don't have to do anything. They can contest with whatever is happening. Lila has quite the pipes on her. She will scream at the top of her lungs. People can hear us driving by in the car...in their car..with everyone's windows up, across the grocery store, you name it. She also has this action that I am
Sure is pretty common among tantrum throwing children. She will fall to the floor to cry, run the other way or be as completely unhelpful as physically possible. This usually results in me picking her up kicking and screaming (both of us lol) and carrying her like a suitcase just to hold on. Upon doing this she immediately drops anything she is holding to slow us down. She does this so often that nahla has gotten in the habit of walking behind me to pick up any items that fall. Anyone who knows Lila knows she always has her nuk. She uses her nuk as primary communication..she throws it in the direction she wants to go. She will throw it downstairs, in the tub, outside and pretty much anywhere else she wants someone to escort her. Although when she is mad it gets throw to the floor with all the other treasures she consistently carries.
Imagine my surprise when we were walking into dance class last week. Lila was mad for whatever reason and all of a sudden she started grabbing at her mouth. I thought surely she must have a dog hair in there or something. The more I watched the more I realized she was trying to throw her nuk. The whole event had tramitized her so badly that she didn't even realize it wasn't there. She was throwing her imaginary nuk over and over again.
hahah, love her!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! You made me realize that it's been a while since I've had to hold Bryton suitcase style lol. Love that Nahla has taken her responsibility to heart :)
