A fun fun week

We have been super busy with all these classes this month. Recently nahla and I went to a class at the zoo called groovy bears. It was the most intense, fun class we have ever been too. I was seriously impressed with everything. They had made a bear cave, trees, and a big digging hole right in the class room. There were so many crafts we didn't even get to them all, we had to take some home. Our teacher was so great at getting the kids involved and listening, I know nahla learned so much. Finally we got a personal tour of the bear exhibits at the zoo. Nahla got to blow scented bubbles at the grizzly bears. They came sniffing around as soon as the kids started blowing bubbles. We also got to pet bear fur and see a bearclaw. The claw a pretty terrifying. It could gut you in about a second.

Later that week we went to mukwonagos fall fest. Robbie had to work so it was just me and the girls. We didn't last more than an hour after being up all morning at dance class but it was fun none the less. Nahla was able to see the inside of an ambulance and fire truck. She thought that was pretty cool since she has always asked about them as they drive by with their sirens ("to get people that have fallen down the stairs and can't get up" says nahla) nahla also got to go into two different bounce houses while Lila checked out the petting zoo. Lila was in love with the goat there. A little boy came to give her a brush and she just sat there brushing the goat until I dragged her away, crying, to go so something else. The girls both got to ride a pony. This was Lila's first time and anyone who knows Lila knows her favorite animal is a pony. Lila loves my little ponys. No toys ever compare to the ponys. The whole ride she had a big grin on her face. She was laughing and laughing. Of course it ended too soon, and tears followed. We finished up by painting pumpkins. Lila and nahla were loving it. We were so lucky to have a sunny day in the 70s since it was all outside. Those cute little pumpkins are now on our front porch.

  2. Haha how cute!! Nahla fascination with the fire trucks just started a little while ago. She was so amazed by the "bed" in the ambulance. And she was super shocked when I told her I got to ride in one of those beds lol.
