So i am wondering if other people feel the same way i do about this.
So i'm obviously not pregnant, and im not trying to have a baby so i need birth control right? Something very common among all adults. Since i did not like the pill we have resorted to condoms. Since i have sex i need to replenish my supply every now and again.
What is it about the sex aisle no matter where it is (walgreens, target, grocery store) that makes you feel like a complete perv? I sit there looking at condoms (and i like to try variety for all of you interested haha) so i take a little while. I have to pick up and read the product like i do anything else. I am immediately ashamed when someone walks past. May be its because most people mistake me for a 15 year old, usually the baby helps put perspective to my age, but not always. Or may be its just the fact that you have to let the rest of the shoppers know you are having sex.
The fact that it is usually in the aisle with the depends is no help. If i pretend i'm looking at a different product it does no good.
I DO NOT shop for condoms with robbie, double awkward. Its only give people a better mental picture. So normally i go with nahla. Shes to young to know anyways. Still though what am i supposed to say to people walking by, "protecting myself from another one of these, shes trouble enough haha" just plain weird.
Checking out is a whole different story.
I've resorted to buying online. Thank you technology.

ReplyDeletesecond -- that's so funny what you say about birth control and condoms and stuff. lol i would never be able to depend on the pill (cause i have enough pills to take as it is and i don't know if i could do it every day at the same time), but i use the nuva ring. once a month, jaren says it doesn't bother him, i don't feel it, so basically for me it's perfect. once we're done having kids, it'll be jaren who has to do something about it lol i've been doing stuff.
