Jesus 2012

I hate when people use facebook to argue their political standpoints. Today wisconsin is looking for some new political candidates. For some reason my "friends" on facebook feel that saying "Vote Ron Johnson" or "Vote Scott Walker" will make me go out and vote for these people? My political view is not so easily manipulated. Usually instead of convincing people to vote for their candidate a huge debate begins between republicans and democrats.

Now easily people can tell im a liberal. Afterall thats what facebook claims me to be. I'm not going to force my opinions on you because no matter what i say, its not going to change your political stance. Sure im not for gay marriage and abortion, but i do believe we are on earth to make choices. So though it is not my cup of tea i would not restrict someone else from making a choice. I am also a strong believer in the idea that Jesus is a socialist. I'm sorry to you die hard capitalists that believe so strongly that jesus doesn't want to share, you are incredibly wrong, law of consecration anyone?

Now i'm not voting today, mostly because im to lazy. I went out to the mall to get nahla new clothes and sure i could have voted, but i dont feel like any person that gets into office does anything.

Although i have decided who i am voting for for the rest of my life. I am writing in Jesus. I'm sure eventually he'll have to come down and take office. I mean i like obama and all, but im sorry there is no comparison. Although i do wish he would come down with less of a bang, i mean i saw 2012, not digging that.

Jesus 2012! I'll make the t-shirts.

  1. LOL! Jaren keeps saying that he wants to get his name on the ballot -- i keep telling him i won't vote him in.

i didn't vote either. also too lazy, and i just don't care about politics. that's it.

  2. This not-voting thing is a little disappointing, I have to be honest. Women worked their asses off for suffrage. By not voting you're just taking your right for granted. Many other countries do not have the privilege that we do to have a say in their government's decisions. It also prevents change from happening. If you decide not to say anything then you're no better than the people you're complaining about. I'm just being objective, I don't mean to offend anyone with this comment. I just think it's ridiculous to say you're "too lazy" when it takes almost nothing to do, and when it's what so many have fought for.

  3. Actually for someone with kids voting is quite a task. Just as anything is. I don't know if you have looked at a ballot lately (i have voted recently) but a lot of the time there is one person to choose from so you can either agree to vote for them or not vote at all. Frankly i don't believe anyone does anything as i have stated earlier. I don't care if people fought for it, thats always a why don't you feel guilty about this. The south fought to the death to keep slavery, should i feel guilty about being thrilled that it doesn't occur anymore? If you don't want to offend anyone don't call me ridiculous. my blogs are more about sarcasm then they are about how i truly feel. However i do believe most politicians are corrupt and anyone who has read the news recently would agree, why would i agree to vote these people in? Believe it or not, i am voicing my opinion by not voting as well.
