baby shower

I had my baby shower last night, which was beyond fun. I didn't even think about having one this time, despite the fact that i never had one with nahla. When someone from the ward offered to throw me one i was so excited!

I woke up yesterday morning with contractions at around 530 and they were still going strong at 630 so i was freaking out that i was going to miss my own shower! luckily everything slowed down.

We had it at my moms house so of course she made her new years party platters..which everyone knows is delicious. Unfortunately i waited to long and missed out on those, but other people brought good stuff too. Especially the fruit bowl..i am obsessed with fruit right now.

I wish i would have taken pictures, because they decorated everything so cute, but i completely forgot.

I ended up getting some really great stuff. In fact there is nothing i didn't need, i'm not returning anything! Who knew that after one girl i still don't have it all...of course i suppose girls can NEVER have enough stuff.

Nahla is really excited about all the baby toys and keeps asking me when we can get them out...i keep telling her we have to wait for the baby.

besides that i saw the doctor yesterday as well..still 1 cm dilated. We also had the home inspection done on the house we are very in love with. It went great, so we are hoping to close it up, fingers crossed!
