lila

It says i have 10 days of pregnancy left but i do not!.. i had my daughter lila on Saturday feb. 18th at 1:12 pm. she was 7.12 pounds and 20 inches..again everyone was surprised by how big she was.

My doctor of course wasn't on call again that weekend, but i did have the same doctor that delivered nahla so that was nice!

My water broke at 3 am and so off to the hospital we went. I didn't start having contractions until around 6 am and i was already 2cm dilated by then.

I think i had the easiest labor in the history of labors. seriously. if i got the choice i would let my water break every time. It was so nice to drive to the hospital without any contractions. I ended up getting my epidural around 8am, which by then my contractions had started, but still were not bad at all.

What i had found out with nahla is that she was "sunny side up" according to the nurse. Which means that basically my contractions never went away, because of the way she was laying. Which made my labor..terrible..so i was pretty afraid to have lila. But without the constant contractions it wasn't bad at all.

So after i got my epidural, i went to sleep for a couple hours, woke up and pushed her out in 2 contractions. It was amazing. I feel so lucky to have had such a nice labor.

We stayed in the hospital for 2 days because i had group b strep and they wanted to monitor lila. Nahla came to visit both days, and i totally missed her terribly both days..so it was nice to go home. although having someone make me food was super nice.

So everything is still going well. She is a wonderful baby. Although of course i am super tired. i could really go for 8 hours of sleep straight right now.
