Ashley's, bad awful day

My life story of today could top grovers bad awful day. 100 times over.

So first off nahlas 200 dollar camera monitor busted...after the 12 year warranty just ended 2 months ago. So i spent 1 1/2 hours..yes you heard me, on hold, just trying to order the replacement cord which is 20 dollars. Which by the way, may or may not work. lovely.

Our payments (2 of them)to my credit cards didn't go through on the internet last month because my dads computer is literally a tortoise reincarnated. So we got charged late fees..which i had to take care of on the phone as well..since i am the new bill payer.

I cannot listen to any more hold music this week at all. AT ALL.

So we get a check in the mail from uwm for school. I think finally things are looking up. We normally get around 2,000 after school and books. This includes all the fasfa, loans, and scholarships.

The check is for 596 dollars. I call robbie, he says he only gets 1 check. They say loans should cover housing...who can live anywhere for 596 dollars for the entire semester?! I am completely pissed. He hasn't even bought books yet! Not to mention we already payed uwm over 200 to reserve his classes?! wtf isn't that what all that other money is for? Trust me if we are spending over 500 on a class hes showing up.

I hate being a poor college student with kids..wow. I swear somehow everyone else gets more money in loans or something, because we are just screwed. Please tell me other people get more money?!

Why can't we just be like every other developed country and pay for college and may be have it not be so ridiculously expensive? Because lets face it going to school is bettering our country. And dont even tell me we have the best school systems.. because those "socialist" countries have us beat.

FML day...by far.

  1. uh! i hate those days! that's when you wish you had an old relative you didn't even know existed would die and you suddenly become a millionaire. the worst thing in the world is being on hold because you never know how long so you can't do ANYTHING!
