Hear..Hear..Nahla has spoken

I love reggae music. Its a pretty recent obession..may be like 2 years. While i did like bob marley i was more of a rock fan.

I listen to the bob marley channel on pandora when im cleaning the house, or basically every other day. I listen to UB40, ziggy marley, and bob marley in my car.

While Nahla has always seemed to be a disco fan ( I don't know who she gets that from) she always dances to the music i play.

Today while we were going to the grocery store, i took out the UB40 cd to put in one of my rock cds. It was nothing hardcore or major. Nahla started screaming. I replaced it with the UB40 cd and she fell silent immediately. When i got out of the car to run in the laundry i turn off the music, she screamed until i turned it back on.

I had to listen to the same cd for the rest of the day.

I've heard that babies remember songs they heard in the womb and are comforted by them. I spent about 40 hours a week when i was pregnant at 98th street listening to reggae 7 hours a day.

May be i should dread her hair.
