turkey day turkey day

i am hosting thanksgiving this year.. for the few and lucky or unlucky that will attend.

I hate thanksgiving food. There is nothing about it that is the least bit appetizing to me. I always told my mom when i was an adult i would make chicken wings or pizza instead.

Looking over what i have to make/buy next week is making me wish i stuck to that. Thank you to all those who have prepared this dissatisfying meal to me in the past. Its a LOT of work.

I have changed up the menu a bit to fit my tastes. After all I am slaving away making it all day. Still its a WHOLE lot to do and i'm not even making that much.

I'm a good cook. I think so and robbie thinks so. Nahla is still alive after eating my food so i think that proves my point enough. However i have never attempted to make a full bird before. We will see if my guests survive.

May be i will get a pizza as back up in case i char the turkey beyond repair. Although I suppose i could always serve it as extra crispy.
