We all have certain celebrities that we just DON'T like.
I for instance do not like lady gaga. I haven't found a song i like by her yet. I'm also not completely convinced she is a she..yeah that was a nasty rumor, but i still believe it.
Robbie on the other hand has a hatred, yes, pure hatred for brendan fraser. Just mention his name and robbie's whole face will scrunch in disgust.
Now when he first voiced this opinion to me i had no idea who he was talking about. I don't know who a lot of actors are. Unless you are hot enough for me to look up a screensaver for i do not know you. sorry. your acting skills can be impeccable, but i'm not interested.
So robbie tells me, "you know the movie about the mummy, hes in that one." "You mean The Mummy?" "yes that one."
I saw the mummy a few times. I remember thinking it was scary when i was about 10 and saw it the first time. My mom made me cover my eyes in the theater during the scary parts. I saw it again later, and enjoyed alright. (I don't watch movies a second time unless it was okay enough the first time) Anyways at no point during the few times that i saw the mummy did i think wow this is a horrible movie. who is that hideous actor? I actually thought this movie was pretty popular when it came out.
I couldn't tell you what else brendan stars in and guess what robbie couldn't either. He has seething hatred for him just from that one not so terrible movie. It seems completely illogical and unjustified.
He also hates chris noth, but thats justified. I watch a lot of sex in the city.
what do you think? Does brendan fraser really suck?
i totally agree with robbie. like layla said, he's in george of the jungle & he's also in encino man (i don't know if you ever saw that). he is SUPER gross looking.
ReplyDeleteoddly though, nathan fillion looks quite a bit like him, but i LOVE nathan fillion (probably just cause of the tv series firefly).
