Recital!

So I haven't written in a while. Feel like I should. The girls had their dance recital. Nahla was perfect she knew all the moves to her dances. The theme of the recital was happily ever after. Nahlas dance was whistle while you work from snow white. This was Lila's first year of dance and they got her in the class early even though she was too young. She ended up doing a song called rubber ducky you're the one with Elmo and Burt. She had a cute little yellow costume and she had a little duck that she held in her hands. Lila's teacher miss Kelly went out there with them to perform. Lila spent all three days of the recital running around in circles on the stage laughing and waving at the audience. Everyone seemed to get a really big kick out of it there was a lot of laughter. I was a stage mom again this year so I watched the show from the side of the stage. I haven't even been able to see the entire show so I'm excited to get the DVD so I can see from the audiences perspective. Nahla of course needed flowers after the first show and so robbie being the great dad that he is brought a bunch of flowers for their final performance. She was living it up taking pictures and couldn't wait to go back onstage again. Lila was the same way when we would wait on the side of the stage to go on she would always try to run on during everyone else's performances. They are both so excited to start dance again and I'm hoping that they both be able to get their same teachers who they love to death. I couldn't be more happy with the studio that we go to and I think that the girls have so much fun with the teachers and their friends.
