catch up on life

okay so i haven't been blogging basically because i haven't had access to a computer. some would ask "ashley how is that possible there are 2 computers in your house" to that i would answer "i don't know how but robbie seems to be able to occupy two computers at the same time, on two different floors" if that isn't impressive i don't know what is.

so ive finally gained access after asking and him sulking about it...on his other computer DOWNSTAIRS.

whats new..oh nothing, ive become the dog whisperer. for those of you that haven't had the pleasure of meeting the idiot head boomer..let me describe him in two words. complete psycho. From the way he acts you would think, that guy has very few brain cells, but somehow he put on a front and tricked us with his puppy dog eyes and kisses at the humane society. dr jekel/mr hyde completely. Unfortunately we have fallen in love with said idiot and cannot get rid of him. And so after multiple different training techniques we got him in an obedience class. unfortunately hes like an energizer bunny, but i cant pull out his batteries.

And so then there was two. We got bambi last week. She is super sweet, loves to be petted, well behaved and puts boomer in his place. aside from some guarding issues we are dealing with her they are the perfect match.

i get to work with the activity days for the 8-12 year olds. they are so fun and i don't ever want to be called out...ever. this is the best.

robbie is a sunday school teacher for the 14 year olds...all boys so they basically all just act like a bunch of teenage boys..including robbie.

nahla loves her friends in nursery, and insists you call her snow white. she is NOT princess nahla. she likes to take off here clothes after immediately entering a building. Especially her pants.. and then sighs ahh and begins to play. this has become a problem at church. she has even thrown her shoes..that she picked out..into the garbage. When we go to restaurants she requests ice and ice..which translates to ice and rice. she regularly removes her pull up and leaves it somewhere, if it isnt found soon enough boomer will eat it, the whole thing. she refuses to go on the potty, still. she also insists i sing Disney songs while she dances. my voice is terrible by the way. with one exception cruella de ville is her running song. she will run back and forth whenever i sing this song.

lila is still our little sweetheart, in fact sometimes shes so good we forget about her. Like leave her in a room, ten min later we will hear crying and be like crap lila. I cant tell you how bad i feel about this. she has begun to crawl so she is finally satisfied with life again, after much frustration over the past couple months. shes getting her first tooth finally after drooling like crazy since she was born. Everyone asks how i can carry her around so long since shes so heavy. Shes a big lady. I just say, imagine having to carry around nahla. lila likes petting the dogs and hanging out with robbie. In fact they spend so much time together its adorable. you can always find her in robbies office.

I am almost finished with Halloween costumes and will begin nahlas place house soon. i always start one craft after another and then have to go back and complete the others. nahla likes doing crafts with me. yesterday we made a pumpkin turkey which turned out quite well. robbie says it looks like its crying because of the glue, probably because its going to be eaten soon. i like going to the dog park and having date nights with robbie. it gives my brain a rest from all the craziness

i think thats all for now.

  1. So much on this post i want to comment on lol. for example the beginning. i can only imagine robbie running two different programs on both computers "using them up". lol! i would never be able to handle two dogs lol we had two dogs when we were little. the first one went to one of my dad's friends after a month. the second one went to the pound after 4 or 5 months! activity days would be so much fun! i can't wait until i have the calling to work with some girls that are old enough to appreciate me ;) however, i LOVED teaching sunday school... sigh. but i'm happy with just leading the music for now. that's so cute that robbie and lila spend of much time together. i sing so many disney songs, my kids will be telling me to shut up!
