penny pincher

I have this insane problem with buying nahlas clothes too big. I cant stand the idea of her growing out of them in a month. its seriously keeps me up at night..stress wise when i have to buy new clothes.

So a month ago i went to baby gap when they were doing a sale and got a bunch of stuff (big of course) for the fall/winter.

I just ordered a bunch more stuff when they were doing a sale online. (nahla goes through about 2 outfits a day) I got the stuff today and half of it is huge. The other half is big/but bearable big.

So i have to go exchange tonight WHICH I HATE. I match all the outfits together and buy coordinating things so she can have an "mix and match expanded wardrobe" not that i think she cares. So when i have to exchange it totally messes up my groove.

Either they dont have the size i want or the color and everything is all thrown off whack. I also dont like baby toddler clothes that much..like the cutesy i love my mommy clothes. So its hard to find things i like.

But the biggest problem is poor nahlas. Today i looked out at her on the trampoline and she was wearing a shirt i got her at the beginning of summer...and it completely covered her diaper. In fact you could barley see her short shorts. She looked like she was wearing her big sisters clothes..if she had one.

So i spend money on cute clothes and then i let her drown in them, because i want to get my moneys worth. isn't that messed up?

  1. o gosh... sounds like the story of my life as a little girl...
except i had an older sister ;)

...actually come to think about it, sounds like the story of my life as a teenager. my dad was so convinced that ALL my clothes would shrink 4 sizes smaller in the wash. that's why i bought all of my own clothes.
