Its no secret that women have a higher pain tolerance than men. In fact it is scientifically proven. Its just funny to me when i see it play out in real life.

I'm only telling these stories because i know Robbie would be a good sport about it.

On an off Robbie complains about a stomach ache. Everyone gets one and it always sucks. Its just in the past 11 weeks that i have noticed the humor in it.

Boys like to be babied i think. Thats why they always tell girls their big boy problems. They want to be taken care of. So he comes to me tells me he has a stomach ache and needs to lay down.

I just laugh. I think are you serious? You're coming to the girl who spends her mornings, afternoons, and evenings with the porcelain god when shes not chasing a 1 1/2 year old complaining about a stomach ache? You really think you are getting sympathy here? haha what a joke.

Girls have to have the babies, because boys would never do it.

The best related story i have happened about 6 months ago.

Robbie went to the er with stomach pain and we found out he should probably get his appendix taken out. An organ about as big as a large kidney bean, that they removed with two tiny incisions.

So the next day they checked again and off he went to an hour surgery. I waited and went to see my doped up husband before leaving for the night.

The next morning i went to the hospital to pick him up and get his "take care of me" instructions.

The nurse told me he couldn't lift more than around 8 pounds and should rest as much as possible. It caught me off guard because those are the same instructions i got going home with nahla. Except his recovery period was 3 weeks shorter than mine.

We were getting ready to leave when he told me he had to pick up his prescription. I was confused but figured it was antibiotics or something. haha wrong, they sent him home with codeine.

I'm sure i had the weirdest expression on my face as i was thinking back in time as to what i got. A box of pads, a squirt bottle (that i will not mention its use) as guys would never look at their girl the same. And well..girls will find out for themselves one day. Oh and i suppose i chose to take home the 2 hour ticking time bomb i just pushed out the night before.

I felt pretty ripped off. Especially when i was sent to pick up his refill.
