nahla

Nahla update-

nahla has finally started to attempt talking.

She knows words but would rather cry or smile to get what she wants.

her favorite word is buh bye. We went out to eat at potbellys for lunch last week and she insisted on saying buh bye and waving to everyone that left.

Then today we went into walgreens and there was a big m&m guy (plastic) there. He was probably about her size. She went right up to him and tilted her head to get in his face and said HI! Hi! Hi!. haha she is too cute.

She loves the nursery at church too. She will run right in as soon as they open the door and screams when its time to leave. I seriously think she is the only kid that does that. In fact last week i wanted to go home early after sacrament meeting and she threw a tantrum when we tried to get her out. Luckily grandpa let her stay with them. What a little church lover.

She also loves yo gabba gabba. I bought her a brobee backpack that she carries around and hugs all the time.

We have yo gabba gabba books now too. and she got yo gabba gabba vans for the fall. She seriously almost had a heart attack when i opened the box.

she also wants to go to the pool everyday. she always says pool?

and when we go to the park she thinks the sandbox is Ba (yucky) like grandmas cat litter.
ah the life of a 20 month old

story of my life-unrelated-

robbie, nahla and i went out to eat at panera about a month ago. An old woman sat next to us and started to play with nahla. This usually annoys robbie. After her playing for nahla for about 5 min. robbie thought he was going to get rid of her. He asked me if i wanted to try some of his soup. He knows that i dont eat cheddar broccoli soup because im lacose intolerant. I said no thanks. He responded loudly oh yeah last time you had the soup you got explosive diarrhea. It was just running out of your butt, remember? The old woman turned away completely disgusted and i was shocked. For one this never happened (for those of you wondering) and for two why would you say that.

I asked him on the way out and he said he just wanted to get that woman to go away. wow thanks.
