My Rule

So i had this rule. I told every boyfriend i had since like well 8th grade, that i would marry any boy that bought me a tiffanys bracelet.

Rules are meant to be broken...I married robbie, with no bracelet.

We had a budget of 50 dollars for each other for Christmas. I went over and bought him a new jacket (because he needed it) So the new budget became 129 dollars. I knew the bracelet was out of the question being at 250.

So today we opened Christmas presents, because santa came while i was sleeping..

My present was a blue box, with a white ribbon. (let me just say i almost fainted) I have a hard time finding any bracelet that will fit me, so i have been dreaming of this one forever. I proceeded to open the box and found a little card in it.

The card read, i love you forever robbie..and an arrow pointing to the back. I turned the card around and handwritten it said I've been saving up my lunch money for this (we get 20 a week each for lunch money) Inside was a bunch of twenties and inside the little blue pouch was the bracelet of my dreams.

Turns out i kept my rule after all. I married the man who got me the bracelet. I suppose i knew his potential. I'm wearing it right now..with my pjs.
