so we have started potty training.
this has been the most terrifying thing since i had nahla. I have always dreaded the day.
This is my second round potty training since may. seriously! Boomer, my puppy, was my first tester baby at this whole concept, and he was a champ.
Lets just say kids are a lot harder.
Nahla shows no signs of needing to go to the bathroom. In the past 2 days since we have started she has not made it to the potty once. I have her naked or in underwear so she notices when she goes and lets just say we are going through a LOT of underwear.
In fact the weird thing is whenever she needs to pee she goes outside. I just figured this out so hopefully i can catch her. I guess since i always tell boomer to go outside and potty she thinks thats where you go.
The bright side of things is human poop is a lot less disgusting to clean up and less smelly. In comparison to dog poop of course. Although preferably id like to clean up no poop.
Lila laughs like crazy and is so sweet. She is such a delicate little flower. She doesn't like loud noises, quick movements, or scary faces. In fact when robbie and i went out to dinner with her a few nights ago she cried every time the waiter talked. His response was "this isnt the first time, it happens a lot with my voice" hahaha how terrible.
Ive finished the tutus for lilas peacock costume and nahlas snow white, but i still have to start on mine. Hopefully i will be done early enough so i have enough time for the playhouse.
We decided to make nahla a playhouse in the basement for her birthday. Once the walls and door are put up its up to me to change it from another room to a little house, so wish me luck. Thank goodness for pinterest. So many ideas i have for it have already been done so its no brainstorming of how to accomplish it, just searching in pinterest.
We have also been going in our pool a lot, in fact nahla and i were just in there earlier today. Luckly shes scared of the pool unless someone is holding her so she is pretty trustworthy outside for short periods of time.
speaking of which i just heard the back door slam so i suppose thats all for now.
hahaha! i love that she goes outside to pee -- i wonder if she picks a tree lol. best of luck with the potty training and presents!
