Happy Halloween!
Earlier this weekend i was telling robbie how i wished halloween was over already! I feel like we have been celebrating for 2 months already...but tonight was beyond fun. I swear Nahla is at the most fun stage ever. Although i always think that..so may be there's more to come, but i love toddlers!
We took nahla trick or treating around the neighborhood for the first time. She already knew what to do since she had gone to the trunk or treat with nana on thursday and then us on friday.
As you can tell from our facebook pictures, she was a ballerina at our trunk or treat..a witch at nana's.. and bugs bunny tonight. (Which worked out perfect, because of course it was freezing)
We would drive her up to the houses in her little car and she would get out, get her basket and go up to the door to choose her candy. Surprisingly everyone knew she was a girl..i'm not sure how in her costume, (robbie thinks it was the foofa shoes) She didn't say trick or treat, although she does know how to say it, but she did say bye to everyone. She was such a sweetie.
We lasted an hour out there..robbie was getting cold. He was also snatching up all of nahla's candy. I'm pretty sure between the two of them half of the candy they got was gone before we got home.
She loved it and we did too. I'm sure she will be sad next week when she realizes we aren't going door to door to get treats anymore.
