Find the square root of x.

One of my most horrible nightmares takes place in my old high school. Turns out i missed like 6 months of algebra 2 and im not going to graduate without the credit..so i have all these tests to take and all this algebra to make up. Its horrible.

Whenever candice and jade have to get ready for school i get knots in my stomach. The idea is so disgusting to me.

I hated school...hated it..i didnt even like it for socializing..i can socialize on my own time i dont need school to do that. The only classes that have been helpful to me are my child development and interior design. Thats it.

I mean dont get me wrong schools a good thing...otherwise i wouldn't be typing sentences right now. But would i ever do any part of it again? not ever. I like learning but its the environment i cant stand. Homework, asking to use the bathroom, school bells, a designated lunch time. Yuck. Thats why its a nightmare.

My opinion is that they need to get rid of some ridiculous classes like algebra 2...and get like humm a cooking class? Really i know some nerd is going to be like you need algebra..no you dont not unless you are building rocket ships.

Seriously thats all i stared at in the dreadful room..the chart that said i would never use this class. What percent of the population builds rocket ships? A lot less then the amount that need to feed themselves. Robbie burned pizza when we first got married. Candice doesnt know how to cook a hot dog. Jade doesnt know how to cut an apple..and either do i. This is a life skill that people need.

imaginary numbers...not so much.

  1. um...just yesterday i needed to know if i'm given a set of points in a plane, where is the point in that plane that will minimize the distance to any other point so that the time it takes the electrons to move through the wires is minimized. bring on the convex hulls, vector cross products, arc-cosines, vector dot products, circumscribed triangles, and circumcenters...all stuff learned in the first three years of high-school math.

yes, i'm the nerd that needs algebra and would have to survive on half burnt pizzas if left to myself. although somewhere in there i learned to cut an apple.

  2. haha! i always thought that they needed more health classes. not just food and p.e., but about balancing your life, etc. i remember going to a conference once and i took a class on how to sleep better... granted i don't remember a thing about it because my friends and i were kicked out for keeping people from sleeping, but i thought it was unconventional and a good skill to know lol

  3. haha jaren this is why the class should be optional. youre like 5% of the pop that uses this stuff. i couldnt even get past like your 2nd sentence without my brain wanting to explode out of my ears from confusion. there will be some things that are never learnable for me and this is one of them...and good thing you have elisabeth haha
