We get to stay up late and watch movies, or talk forever about funny things. I love it.
The one thing we dont love..our bed.
Robbie and i just went bed shopping today and fell in love with a mattress that was not only a great deal, but will finally fit both of us.
We have been sleeping on a queen bed (borrowed from my parents) since we got married. The bed is incredibly comfortable, if you are sleeping by yourself.
Usually we end up smashed all night. robbies legs are to long for the bed so he sleeps diagonally into me, while pushing me off the bed. One morning he asked me what happened to my nose.....(he had hit me in the face with his elbow during the night) Futher bedtime battle wounds are not discussed..its just sad. for him..and my face.
We couldn't deal with it anymore...in comes our california king! 4 inches longer and wide enough to give us the sprawled outness we both deserve.
Robbie asked me if i'm going to feel like a baby in the bed..since it will be so big.
what does he know
robbie says he isnt going to be able to sleep tonight because hes too excited for our new bed to come..
check out that height difference. I'm glad he will finally be able to sleep comfortably!
Congrats on the new bed, I know how excited we were to get our bed after sleeping with an ikea sponge mattress on the floor for 2 years. But, there is no way the bed your sleeping on now is a queen, that is a full size bed, trust me. Our bed is way bigger than the bed that was in my room. We wanted a King, but a queen is easier for now, just because moving from apt to apt we're never sure if a King will always fit. Plus it wouldn't matter how big our bed is, Kylie insists on sleeping right next to me, so I never get to sprawl..but I don't mind;)
