Hello is anybody home?!

so since today was a warm sunny 35 degree wisconsin day nahla and i headed to the zoo in our sweatshirts....yes layla sweatshirts...

we haven't been there in a long time because well who wants to go walk around an empty zoo in -3 degree weather.

robbie met us there for his lunch and we walked around the aviary. Nahla chased all the ducks around despite warning signs being plastered everywhere. We finally had to grab her in fear that they might peck her eyes out or something.

so after robbie left i decided wed go check out some more houses since no African animal was going to be outside with the snow.

Every single animal was sleeping. in every house...it was universal nap time or something. May be they drug them i don't know, but i was like WTF?!?!?!?

Now i know why they put those signs on there that say dont tap the glass..i wanted to wake them up.

Finally after 3 houses of sleeping animals we get to the fish house. I'm half expecting them to be floating on top or something at this point.

To my surprise they were moving. Nahla didn't care about the fish. She was more interested in the kids at this point. So she made some friends and we went home.

Whatever snoozing spell they put over the animals worked on nahla...shes still napping...
